Allgemein
Für so ziemlich alle Nintendo Fans war es ein Schock das auch ein Resident Evil 4 für die Playstation 2 erscheinen soll. Nach anfänglicher Wut auf Capcom hat man es dann aber doch noch akzepitieren können das beide Versionen ihre Vor und Nach-teile haben.
Anderungen zur Gamecube Version
- Bonusspiele sind dabei (bei der Version in Deutschland fehlten bei der Gamecube Fassung die Minispiele, in Österreich blieb alle UNCUT)
- Neue Kostüme nach durchspielen
- Neue Waffen (Laserkanone)
- ca. 4 Stunden langer Bonusabschnitt mit Ada in der Hauptrolle (nicht Adas Assignement sondern etwas neues.)
Grafik
Was die Grafik angeht musste man leider doch einige Einbußen machen was der Vergleich zur Gamecube Version beweist. Etwas Nebel und unglatte Kanten sind der Preis für die sonst tadellose Umsetzung.
