Exodus meistert die Balance aus altbekannten Stärken wie Linearität, Story und Horror und der neugewonnenen Freiheit mit Nebenmissionen, Fahrzeugen und Loot-Sammelei hervorragend. Dabei bleibt das Spiel in vielerlei Hinsicht seinen Wurzeln treu, fügt aber etwas wirklich Neues hinzu. Nie hätte ich mir träumen lassen, in Metro mal eine Wüstenwelt im Stil von Mad Max, Fallout oder Rage zu betreten - und es funktioniert erstaunlich gut!

Mit Metro Exodus ist 4A Games ein ordentliches Kunststück gelungen. Die Entwickler haben genau die richtige Balance zwischen neuen und alten Einflüssen gefunden. Ich kann den Release kaum noch abwarten!"
